I'm passionate about the connection between human beings and technology, which is why I'm a follower of Formula ! and technologies applied to the commercial system. To understand this passion, given my training as a physicist, I delved into science and philosophy to see how technology impacts society. This is how I came to know Mario Bunge's scientific realism during the pandemic.
My Vision
Many believe that artificial intelligence is the next technological revolution, but this is not the case. It is a great tool that enhances human knowledge; however, the great change is more silent, disruptive, and will have results that will change how we perceive reality, make decisions, and build our societies with a vision for the future. We are referring to the application of systems theory to the social sciences. Currently, in sociology, philosophy, and economics, there is a lot of pseudo-knowledge based on idealistic, subjective, and irrational positions, which has led Western societies to a nihilism, understood as the absence of transcendental values and a sense of existential emptiness, according to French anthropologist Emmanuel Todd.
Scientific realism is the philosophical view that the described world is real, and the systemic approach allows us to interpret reality and, from there, make strategic, technological, and operational decisions in order to adapt to a seemingly chaotic world.
